Our Team

Matt Kaufman, PhD

I am an assistant professor at the University of Chicago, in the department of Organismal Biology and Anatomy, the Neuroscience Institute, and the NITMB. I joined the faculty at UChicago in 2018. I performed my PhD work in Krishna Shenoy's lab at Stanford, in close collaboration with Mark Churchland (now at Columbia), and did a postdoc in Anne Churchland's lab at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (now at UCLA).
